Dyrol Jay Burleson (born April 27, 1940 in Cottage Grove, Oregon) is a retired middle-distance runner from the United States, who grew up in Cottage Grove, Oregon, United States. He now spends most of his time caring for his goats, llamas, and single alpaca.
He attended the University of Oregon, where he ran track under the coach Bill Bowerman. Dyrol lettered in track and field in 1960, 1961, and 1962.[1]
In 2010 he joined the National Track and Field Hall of Fame.[2]
